This month’s
column features SNCA member Jerry Judd. Jerry is currently a student
at North Carolina Central University where he plans to graduate in December
2006 with an M.L.S. in Archives and Records Management. He also holds
a B.A. in History with a minor in Secondary Education from Loyola University
in New Orleans and an M.A. in History from the University of New Orleans.
Jerry is currently volunteering at the Barton College
Archives, where he is working on the Hackney Brothers Body Company Collection.
He will be participating in an internship at East Carolina University's
Joyner Library Special Collections Department this fall. Jerry’s
primary area of research is in recent United States Military History,
with an emphasis on the Cold War.
