--University Archivist at Fayetteville State University
--I received my BS degree in English Language and Literature from FSU in May 1976 and I received my MLS from North Carolina Central University in May 1989. I am also a member of NCLA and NC African American Archives Group.
--I started working at Fayetteville State University on August 2, 1976. I have been here for 31 wonderful and exciting years in various job positions. I have held positions such as Head of Circulation, Assistant Periodicals Librarian, Head of Public Services and Reference, Head of Government Documents, and I currently hold the position of University Archivist. I love assisting Dr. Bertha Miller (FSU Historian) with the Pictorial History of FSU. It has been one of my most rewarding experiences yet, while working at FSU in the Archives Department.
--Another rewarding experience was attending the HBCU Archives Institute in 2002 and 2004 at Spelman College. It has given me the basics for working in Archives.
--I also enjoy attending church. I am the church secretary and assistant primary sunday school teacher at my church. In my spare time I do a little sewing and baking.
