C. David Jackson Memorial SNCA Meeting Scholarship

The Society of North Carolina Archivists (SNCA) offers a scholarship of up to $500 for the purpose of allowing an individual to attend the society's spring meeting and pre-conference workshops. Scholarship funds may be used for meeting registration, workshops, lodging, meals and travel expenses. A one-year membership in SNCA will also be included with the scholarship. Reimbursement will be made, based on a statement of expenses submitted with accompanying receipts, by June 1 of the calendar year in which the meeting takes place.

Purpose: This scholarship is intended to promote continuing archival education and professional alliances among archivists in North Carolina.

Eligibility: Applicants either must be employed in the archival profession in North Carolina with little or no access to institutional support for professional development, or be a student enrolled in an archival studies program in North Carolina. Volunteers who have a primary responsibility for archival materials in an institution may also apply. A previous SNCA scholarship recipient may not make further applications.
