The time is almost here for the Archives Week Committee to design the poster and bookmark for Archives Week, 2012 ”Journeys to Justice: Civil Rights in North Carolina.” “Journeys to Justice” does not only include images of the Civil Rights of the 1960′s, but also women’s rights and the rights of the LGBTQ community. The more varied the submissions, the more inclusive the bookmark and poster will be. Submit your ideas for images to archives_week@ncarchivists.org or comment on this post! We look forward to seeing what archives across the state have in their holdings that represent North Carolina Civil Rights.
